With 2013 right around the corner we at Sundance Studies are really excited to kick off the New Year right! What better way than to offer our current clients a fantastic deal. Add one class for only $25 onto your current tuition. Add two classes for only $40 onto your current tuition! This prices will be good through July 2013! 

We have the July recital date set (July 27, 2013) and have begun working on some amazing routines. Please visit the schedule on the website to see the class availability and let us know what classes you want to add.

Calling all Dancers!

Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving! We have some exciting news...starting on Thurs Dec 6th we are opening Folklorico Thurs at 6:15 and Beg Hip Hop 7+ at 7:05. 

For the month of Dec if you bring a friend to one of these classes your class will be free (tuition will be prorated for Dec).

Thanksgiving Holiday Closure

Sundance Studios will be closed Thurs Nov 22- Sun Nov 26 in
celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy tine with your family

Bring a friend with you for one free dance class. If your friend signs up for dance classes you will get one free dance class.

RECITAL INFO **IMPORTANT**

The recital is FRIDAY, November 9th at 6pm.

There will be NO dress rehearsal.

Dancers need to arrive promptly at 5pm completely ready in their first costume with their hair (hair can be worn anyway for this recital) and/or make up done.

Additional costumes must be brought with your dancer (please see checklist below for recommendations).

Stage helpers need to arrive at 4:30 pm. Only those who signed up as stage volunteers will be allowed backstage. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Recital Checklist

Recital is only 2 weeks away! Please see the checklist below to make sure you are ready...

ð       Costumes – They should be hung on a hanger and labeled. We suggest white medical tape with the full name of the dancer on the inside of the costume. Remember, all the dancers have the same costumes and it gets kinda crazy backstage. Do the stage helpers (and yourself) a favor, and PLEASE label the costumes.

ð       Accessories – Each costume came with accessories. We suggest putting all the accessories for each dance in a zip lock bag and hanging it on the hanger with the matching costume.

ð       Tights – Always a good idea to send an extra pair.

ð       Shoes – Tap, Ballet, Jazz, White tennis shoes…bring them. And make sure they are labeled too! Shoes left behind at the recital will be taken by Tempe Performing Arts. 

ð       Snacks – Something that isn’t going to mess up the costumes. Goldfish and animal crackers and good. And bottled water.

ð       Tickets – Did you order your tickets? Anyone entering into the auditorium will need a ticket. 

Recital Info

- The recital individual and group pictures are now available to view
and purchase. Prices are $40 for 5 poses, $65 for 10 poses or $85 for
unlimited. Families will receive a 10% discount.

- Stage Helpers Needed: We need 2 helpers from each class to help
backstage. If your dancer has multiple costume changes or will be
upset if you are not there, please volunteer. **You MUST sign up prior
to the recital. You will not be allowed backstage the day of the
recital unless your name is on the list, no exceptions.

- You will be receiving more info on times shortly.

The holidays are coming up and now is the time to get those family photos for your holiday cards! Melissa will be scheduling photo sessions during picture week.

24th Studio Weds Picture Day

Wednesday pictures for 24th studio will be on Weds Oct 17th, not next
week during picture week.

PICTURE WEEK!

Costumes are in! Your dancer will be receiving their costume over the next couple of weeks at their dance class. So you know what that means...picture week!

Picture week for both studios will be the week of Oct 1st during your normal scheduled class time.

Please have your dancer arrive to class ready for pictures. They should have their costume, tights and shoes on. You can do their hair as you wish. Feel free to put some make up on them if you would like.

Costume Changes

When ordering the costumes we did have to make a couple of changes due
to time constraints. The costumes chosen also go well with the
choreographed dance and music. We will have the new costume books
shortly.

Trophies/Medals and Tights/Shoes

The Holiday Recital will be here before we know it, Fri Nov 9th. All costumes have been ordered and now it's time to place the order for trophies/medals and shoes/tights. Please email sundanceacctgdept@yahoo.com with your order no later than Weds Sept 19th.

If we did not receive an email letting us know your dancer will not be

Holiday Recital - Nov 9th 2012

As I mentioned we have lots of exciting things happening this
year...here is the first one. We are doing a Holiday Recital on Fri
Nov 9th!

This is earlier than we have normally been having the recital,
therefore we have a few changes to the costume schedule.

Costumes fees will be deducted from the card on file on SEPT 1st. (See
fees below)

If your dancer will not be participating you will need to email
sundanceacctgdept@yahoo.com no later than Sat Aug 25th. Once the fees
are pulled and costumes ordered there will be no refunds.

We will not be accepting any late orders. Once the order has been
placed we will not be able to add to it.

There will be a $30 recital fee. This fee will cover the facility and
a DVD of the recital.
